I don't know if it's just me, but I'm starting to get a little tired of the whole nail art craze. More recently I've been taking inspiration from some of the Spring/Summer 2013 beauty trends we saw last season, so this week I decided to give my nails a little make-under. Tapping into the nude nail trend I opted for a nice subtle pink nude. My nude nail polish collection is constantly growing, particularly now that Spring's on it's way, but this week's lacquer of choice is Models Own in Nude Beige - it's a beautiful, warm nude that gives a gorgeous barely there look with a sleek, glossy finish.
Nude nails are all about simplicity so I decided to keep them classically curved to enhance their natural shape and look. Never one to say no to a little bit of added glitter, I decided to spruce up my mannequin manicure with a glitter accent nail using Models Own Champagne. It's one of my favourite colours; it adds a really understated elegance with a touch of glamour.
I've definitely fallen in love with my newly painted nude nails, I can't wait to experiment with some more nude shades for Spring!
Gorgeous combo! I agree with you, nude understated nails are the way forward x
