This year my Birthday was slightly more special than normal, being the 21.12.12 I spent the day waiting for the Mayan apocalypse at the very beautiful Celtic Manor Resort. The morning of my birthday I was surprised by my boyfriend with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a reservation at our favourite spa getaway, The Celtic Manor Resort. I quickly packed my bikini and Louboutins and we set off for Wales, spending the entire afternoon mulling around the spa with plenty of Elemis goodies and a few too many glasses of champagne.
We had such a perfect day and it was every bit as magical as I remember - if not more so this time of year! Alas the world didn't end so I spent the rest of the evening celebrating with lots of food, even more wine and the best company a girl could ask for. I can only hope next year is just as special.
